Welcome evenings

At least three times a year we put on a special event for those who are new to the church.

These evenings are an opportunity to find out more about the church and the worldwide family of churches that we're a part of: newfrontiers. A typical Welcome meeting gives you the opportunity to meet the leaders properly, ask any questions you may have and make more friends.

Foundation Course - For those considering membership

If, after coming to the Welcome Evening, you decide you want to explore becoming a member of the church, there is a series of meetings called the Foundation Course. Over a period of four weeks the meetings cover all our key values as well as sharing the churches vision in more depth and giving lots of opportunities for questions.

Elders interview:

Once you have attended the Foundation Course and know that you want to become a member of Gateway Church Swindon, we will invite you to have an informal 'interview' with one of the elders. Usually taking place in your home, it's a relaxed way to make sure you're fully up to speed with the vision and values of the church, as well as clarifying any outstanding questions you may have.
